Nine of us met at the WVH and made our way to The Windmill playing fields to start our walk, as the sun was burning through the last of the morning mist. The walk followed the road from the fields which passed underneath the B2645 bridge, the dog kennels and on to Frampton, Mount Pleasant farm, around to Sigingstone lane and headed to Llanmaes.

We stopped at the corn fields for our group photo and took particular interest in the irrigation system which replicated a large water bed. We followed the road back to the playing fields. The walk was pleasant and easy going, perfect for what was turning into a hot day.
We proceeded to Topstak for an enjoyable and relaxing moment with our coffees and light snacks.
A special mention and welcome to new members Lynne and Frank Rocket and also to Carrol and Mary the original founders of the walking club some 15 years ago.
