Ten of us started out from the Wick Village Hall, meeting up with Mags and Magaret at the Mezze carpark, St Brides Major from where we commenced our walk.
We proceeded from the car park passing Pitcot pond to Penylan Road, moving on to Blackhall Road and onto the common. There were butterflies and great views on the common and our group photograph encompassed a part of the outstanding country view.
We continued to the stepping stones at Castell upon Alun before heading back to St Brides and the Fox restaurant where we enjoyed coffee/tea and a few light snacks.
A great day, a lovely 3.5 mile walk and perfect venue to end our walk with relaxed chat and good company.
