Fifteen walkers, including David and Leigh who arrived at the weekend from the USA, met on a crisp sunny morning at Llantwit Major train station and walked through Llantwit, taking the Drangway to Colhugh Street and Flanders Road, and the high footpath to the beach.
Lovely views to the sea and Devon as we walked along and a group photo was taken at the beach by a friendly dog walker. From the beach we took the river footpath back towards Llantwit Major, and then the path from Beach Road to Rosedew Farm.
Lots of chatting as we walked along which continued in Acorn café. We returned to the train station via Ham Lane East, Stradling Park and the little lanes to the Llantonian Hall by the Rugby Club, a lovely walk – and no rain at all.
