A dry day, although wet underfoot, still saw thirteen of us meeting at the WVH and Forage Farm shop for what turned out to be an Enjoyable walk.
We left Forage and proceeded down, passing beneath the underpass and onto the high street. Avoiding the centre of Cowbridge we turned in at the Old Police Station and on to the Police sports field. Crossing the field itself was easily manageable although the mud at the field exit, where there had been heavy foot traffic was the first warning of what could be. We continued along the path, up the steps to Geraint Way, across the fields and Llantwit Major Road, on into the new Clare Gardens Housing Development.

We decided not to go across the field directly to St Brynach Church but walk up to the Cross Inn and take the lane from there to the church. After viewing the double stile used to carry coffins over and with Frank taking a group picture, we continued up the lane to the A48 and back to Forage, to be met by Mary & Carroll who joined us for coffee/tea.
Again, a most enjoyable walk with good company and friends
