Nine of us set out from the Village Hall for Southerndown beach where we were met by a further three including one potential new member, a friend of Mags.
It was dry but quite blustery as we walked up to the ‘secret garden’ for our photo shoot, then proceeded along the coastal path to Witches Point and up the steep incline to the top for fantastic views towards Porthcawl and Tusker Rock.

We returned via the ruins of Dunraven House, demolished in 1963, and back down the path to the cars, a total distance of 2 miles. We then made our way to the Ogmore Community Hall where we were joined by Helen and Andrew, and all fourteen of us enjoyed a most convivial pre-Christmas coffee and chat together.
