Four people ventured out from the Farmers Arms in St Brides Major for a 5-mile road loop taking in the nature reserve and the stepping stones across the river before heading back up onto the Ewenny/Wick Road and heading past the Llampha turn and onto to Castle upon Alun via Croes-cwtta before heading back through St Brides Major to the Farmers Arms once more.

We were blessed with very pleasant weather and upon returning to the pub we met up with other members of the walking group who had been clay pigeon shooting in the nearby quarry.
All in all, a very pleasant morning.
